About MemwaMind

Built for work that cannot afford to forget.

The company story begins inside an accounting practice and with a problem: too much useful client context still depended on one person remembering it.

Why MemwaMind

The answer is rarely in one file, one year, or one person's head.

A bank statement explains one number. A contract changes how another number should be reviewed. A prior workpaper records why the firm made a judgment last year. An email may add context without becoming the controlling source.

The product page shows how that context enters the work and review.

Where it began

MemwaMind began with thirty years of accounting work carried in one person’s memory.

Our founder grew up watching his mother run her accounting practice: client histories, open questions, and years of decisions held in files and in her head. After thirty years, too much of what mattered still depended on one person remembering where it lived and why.

That practical problem became the reason to build MemwaMind.

Who builds it

The research behind work that remembers.

MemwaMind was founded by a behavioral scientist with a PhD who studies how people judge complicated information and builds systems that organize evidence at scale. That work shapes how it finds context, ties it to the job, and keeps your review in front of the decision.

The name

Memwa means memory. Mind means work that remembers.

Memwa is the Haitian Creole word for memory — the product idea, and a nod to our founder's Haitian heritage.

Together, MemwaMind describes accounting work that keeps useful client context close, shows its steps, and builds on what the firm already knows.
